Afghani Cannabis Seeds Feminized — Classic Afghan Indica Genetics
Afghani Feminized Cannabis Seeds deliver the timeless power of old-school Afghan genetics in a grower-friendly, dependable format. Known as a foundational indica line used in countless modern hybrids, Afghani is loved for its dense, resin-rich buds, earthy-hash aroma, and deeply relaxing, end-of-day effects.
Because these seeds are feminized, you can focus on building a productive canopy without wasting time hunting and removing male plants—ideal for growers who want a straightforward path to quality buds.
Flavor & Effects
Afghani is famous for its classic “old world” profile: earthy, pungent, and often sweet with a distinct hashy/spicy edge.
Expect a heavy indica-style body calm and a soothing, slow-building relaxation that makes Afghani best suited for evenings and late-night sessions. Many growers and enthusiasts associate Afghani with “couchlock” strength and long-lasting unwind effects.
Growing Afghani Feminized Seeds
Afghani is widely appreciated for being hardy and forgiving, with a growth pattern that tends to stay short, compact, and bushy—great for indoor tents and controlled environments. It’s also known for producing thick, resinous flowers, making it a favorite for growers who care about trichome coverage and bag appeal.
- Indoor flowering: Typically finishes in about 8–9weeks (varies by phenotype and conditions).
- Outdoor harvest window: Often ready by late September to early October in many climates (weather-dependent).
- Difficulty: Commonly considered beginner-friendly with solid resilience when the basics are right.
Grow tip: Afghani’s compact structure responds well to gentle training (like LST) to open up bud sites and improve airflow through the canopy.
THC / CBD Notes
Afghani is generally seen as a moderate-to-strong potency indica, with THC commonly reported around the high teens and sometimes reaching ~23%+ depending on phenotype and grow conditions. CBD is typically low.

Love this strand. I live in eastern Ontario and grow it outside in a sunny area in a large pot. A bit harder to germinate sometimes but worth it! Great for socializing with friends, uplifting buzz with no paranoia effects.

Little disappointed, the seeds I bought Gorrilla Glue all came up one inch and died, I wanted to tell my seed bank, but know one is answering me, I tried 3 times to talk to them about this, but never an answer..
I love this seed bank,
Had it only been one set of seeds I’d be ok with that because I believe you got to take the good with the bad and let it go, but when it happens twice, it’s caused me to loose my growing timing.
They always said they would replace bad seeds, yell I guess not for me..
When I started with this amazing seed bank, they were there ready to talk to you, now I can’t get anyone to help me..
Regardless I’m loyal to this seed bank, and just got some cherry pie..
Your staff has always been so incredible, and all I can say isn’t loyalty supposed to work both ways..
Again regardless, I’ll stay a loyal customer..
Just wish this didn’t happen..
Still I say thank you to all the staff, thank you so much for all the amazing grows since with your seed bank..

Hello, this was the first time I have ever grown Afghani as I have not seen this strain since 1980ś , also its a tropical strain and I live in Vermont and the summers here are far from tropical. I figured I would try it, what's the worst that could happen {Die} ?? To my amazement it has thrived, its not tall but super bushy with the largest stalk I have ever seen in all my years of growing. Its definitely a late bloomer as its the end of September and only now the buds are really starting to take off. Thanks Guys
