Durban Poison Cannabis Seeds Feminized
Durban Poison Cannabis Seeds Feminized are a legendary choice for growers who want a true, old-school sativa experience: uplifting energy, sharp mental focus, and a terp profile that’s instantly recognizable. Durban Poison is widely described as a South African sativa landrace originating from the Durban region, famous for its vigorous growth, big yields, and “daytime-friendly” effects.
Most references list Durban Poison as a potent sativa with a THC range around 18–24% and typically low CBD. The experience is often described as clear-headed, energetic, and motivating—great for creativity, getting things done, and staying social (dose-dependent).
Flavor, Aroma & Overall Experience
Durban Poison stands out for its unique flavor: expect a sweet, spicy mix that often leans licorice/anise, layered with citrus, pine, and earthy herbal notes. It’s pungent in flower and becomes even more defined after a proper cure.
Effects commonly come on bright and cerebral—uplifting, focused, and euphoric—with minimal “couchlock” compared to heavier indica lines.
Why Grow Durban Poison Feminized?
- Pure sativa energy – upbeat, focused, and creativity-friendly effects.
- Signature licorice/anise terps – a classic profile that’s hard to confuse with anything else.
- Strong yield potential – a proven producer in the right conditions.
- Feminized reliability – efficient canopy planning without worrying about males.
Growing Durban Poison (Indoor / Outdoor / Greenhouse)
Durban Poison is a photoperiod feminized strain with a commonly listed indoor flowering time of about 8–10 weeks. As a true sativa, it can grow tall and stretch—especially outdoors—so training helps keep the canopy controlled and productive.
- Height management: Top early and use LST/SCROG to control stretch and spread bud sites.
- Airflow: Keep good airflow through the canopy for healthy, resinous flowers.
- Outdoor tip: Best results come in warm, sunny climates; plan harvest for September–October depending on your region.

I planted 1 Durban Poison seed and it grew like a tree.
The stems are completely red. Some buds and sugar leaves are turning purple.
I'll see what that seed is capable of.

I agree there is phenotype differences, If you grow 4 in a tent, you'll see that for sure. Truthfully, I'd say even more variation in the cindy slow grow. Yet, every seed I planted grew well, some far better than others and those were the lines i kept with cloning. I have one Mom I kept as one of my 4 plants. Buzzy and upbeat, happy Quite strong.

4 of 5 seeds germinated, so better than my average from this company. They all grew well and seem fairly resistant to pests. The reason they only get a 3 star from me is the variation from one plant to another is crazy. Completely different taste, look, finish times( full MONTH difference, oct 1-oct31). I know durban poison very well and have sampled many different peoples products. Not one of my durban poison plants is close to any durban poison that I have had in the past and like I said I have had legal, grey market and homegrown durban that are all similar to each other but nothing like this. I have been growing and making my own seeds for almost 30 years and am well aware of the variations between phenotypes but this is like a first gen cross of very different strains not a 500 year old strain??? So disappointing after 6 months of growing and 4 months of drying and curing to end up with a vastly different product than what you ordered!
